Stress and Performance – Individual Assignment – Stress Vulnerability Rating

Using the Social Readjustment Rating Scale,, list all of the events you’ve experienced over the last year. Add up the points for all of your experiences to find your score. Use the scale at the bottom of the page to assess your risk for a health-related breakdown due to stress. What cognitive behavioral techniques (CBTs) and/or mindfulness strategies do you use to reduce your vulnerability to negative stress? (Refer to the film clip by Dr. Mike Evans for examples of CBTs and mindfulness strategies.) Provide a thoughtful reflection (125 to 250 words) describing which techniques you have found useful.
